2015 Tasting & Trends

A special thank you to our 2015 brides & event planners that attended the Astrodome of Parma, hosted by as you like it catering.  The hall was appointed with 30 different tablescapes & themes, thanks to our friends at Cathryne’s Creative Details.  Anne Wojanis and Linda Skladany, our resident event planners, made the evening at the Astrodome relaxed and inspiring.

The sampling menu was built around the many mixed cultures and cross-overs of the Cleveland food scene.  Our talented kitchen staff, Marie, Rob, MaryAnn, Kim, and Rick worked to make each bite shine with flavor and delight your senses.  As always, our foods start with only fresh components from local Cleveland suppliers, and made specifically for each event.

Of special note and comment were the unexpected flavors.  Chicken Kiev bites, Bruschetta on toasted crustini, Mini pierogi, Grilled cheese & tomato soup shooters, Devils on horseback, Empanadas, Pork paperkas, Kielbasi & sauerkraut sliders.  Of course, there were the kitchen favorites, Chicken Breast Supreme, Stuffed Porkloin, Crab puffs, and Twice Baked Potatoes.

St. Josaphat’s Church, the Astrodome, and as you like it catering, is looking forward to our 2015 events, and as always, we’re Parma Proud.

    The tasting was amazing! It was like a reception in itself! All our family loved the food, the decor and the atmosphere! Thank you for organizing this event 🙂
